In talking with different members of the community, a common theme pops up from those who want to attend. &#8220;<em>How do I convince my boss\/company\/employer that we\/I should attend the WebPros Summit?&#8221; <\/em>Never fear, we have a solution for you! Take this handy pre-formatted letter and simply replace the text that goes in&nbsp;<strong>[these boxes]<\/strong>. There&#8217;s plenty of value to attending the Summit this year, and we&#8217;d love to have you there, so here&#8217;s some help convincing the decision-makers that you should go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Dear&nbsp;<\/em><strong><em>[Name of the world&#8217;s best boss]<\/em><\/strong><em>,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=_-413.html>first annual WebPros Summit<\/a> promises to be the largest web hosting conference in the North America, and I think it would be beneficial to the company for me to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, cPanel has expanded upon the conferences of the past, bringing in fellow providers Plesk, WHMCS, SolusVM, and XOVI, as well as Open Source platforms Apache Foundation, CentOS, Dovecot, Exim and MySQL!&nbsp;I will have the opportunity to attend panels and sessions given by leading subject matter experts in the industry. This helps me improve my knowledge and understanding of the various platforms, applications, and etc. throughout the industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also have the opportunity to learn about what features and improvements are planned for the software we use every day through attending these sessions. I can chat with Developers, Product Owners, Technical Analysts, Migration Team members, Account Management, and other knowledgeable experts throughout the industry! We will be learning directly from experts in the know every single day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opportunity to network with many&nbsp;people in our industry and talk about <strong>[the place where you work]<\/strong> is invaluable. Unlike other industry events, the WebPros Summit intentionally plans networking events each night for the entire group of attendees.&nbsp;The evening events, while&nbsp;just&nbsp;as beneficial, are a more informal atmosphere where I will be able to interact face-to-face with those same experts again.&nbsp;This gives me the chance to pick their brain about&nbsp;<strong>[insert thing that your boss wants to&nbsp;be fixed, but that you haven&#8217;t figured out how to fix yet]<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I know, there&#8217;s some cost involved, but there are discounted rates at Marriott Marquis Atlanta hosting the conference, and the ticket is only $225 (or if we&#8217;re a partner, I can get in for free).&nbsp;I can&nbsp;<strong>[take a shuttle from the airport instead of a cab, drive if it&#8217;s a short distance instead of&nbsp;fly, run if it&#8217;s an even shorter distance, <\/strong><a href=watchef91.html><strong>a wingsuit like a flying squirrel<\/strong><\/a><strong>, ride a hoverboard a la Marty&nbsp;McFly\u2026.]<\/strong>, and transportation is provided to and from events. Breakfast and lunch&nbsp;are included, and events include snacks and drinks in the evening.&nbsp;Overall, the small cost of going to the WebPros Summit is nothing compared to the value we&#8217;ll get from gaining new industry contacts, knowing the latest industry news, and being able to represent&nbsp;<strong>[where you work].<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=_-413.html>webprossummit.com<\/a>&nbsp;is where you can see everything that they offer, and the sessions I would get to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[Depending on the culture of your company and relationship with your boss, insert the acceptable level of requesting to go once more.
